The Douglas B. Rogers Essay Competition, now in its eighth year, is open to all full-time undergraduate students currently enrolled at the time of essay submission in any field of study at a college or university in North America. This annual program invites aspiring students to submit essays which are prompted by a provocative quotation from one of Doug's favorite Economists, Political Theorists, or Philosophers.

This essay competition is hosted by The Center for Political and Economic Thought at Saint Vincent College, in Latrobe PA. Essay submissions will be due by January 10, 2020. Winners will be notified in February, 2020.
